Rockbandet med Dennis Locorrieres fløjlsbløde stemme i front indtog hitlister verden over med deres fængende blanding af soft rock, country og disco på hits som ‘Sylvias Mother’, ‘Cover of the Rolling Stone’, ‘Sexy Eyes’, ‘A Little Bit More’ og ‘When You’re In Love With A Beautiful Woman’.

Startede i 1968
Dr. Hook & The Medicine Show, som de hed i starten, blev dannet i 1968 af Dennis Locorriere og Ray Sawyer (med klap for øjet), der senere valgte at gå solo. Fra 1971 til 1983 udsendte Dr. Hook i alt 12 albums og lå nr. 1 på hitlisterne i mere end 42 lande – bl.a. i USA, England og Danmark. I 2014 udkom opsamlingsalbummet ‘Timeless’ med bandets største hits.
