About Bonnie Tyler

Bonnie Tyler is a Welsh singer hailing from Skewen, West Glamorgan. Born in 1951, she would originally start out as a pub and club performer, but after signing for RCA Records in 1975, she would become an international superstar.

Today, Tyler has sold over 100million records and owns two of the best-selling singles of all time too; Jim Steinman collaborations Total Eclipse of the Heart and Holding Out for a Hero. She was also the first female to see an album shoot straight to the top of the UK charts, with 1983’s ‘Faster Than the Speed of Light’.
